ABOUT THE SESSION

Aline Lédémin

My goal is to give an insight on the fashion industry and  give an introduction on my background as a fashion designer and a black women immigrant in the United States. I hope my entrepreneurial journey navigating life in San Francisco for the last 12 years could inspire emerging creators and attract potential investors willing to participate in a growing fashion business “powered by love, craftsmanship, travel, style, drive and excellence”.

Aline Lédémin is the eponym brand of Aline Lédémin Dazogbo.
“I {re-created} my fashion company from the desire to give back to the people who need it the most”….
I was born in Benin but never lived there and was raised in 12 countries.
I relocated in Phoenix, Arizona from San Francisco, California after a two year break during the pandemic, a dark period when I disconnected with my creativity. Today, “I rise by rising others”.
The brand aims to enfold with each pieces a segment of her story as a designer-entrepreneur in the United States through the last 12 years, merging talents with under privileged yet highly gifted artisans. The ones that need the most recognition and support.

-Rooted in Africa for 80% of the production the brand drives new growths and accelerations in fashion, design, art and fashion technology, helping others take part of the design narrative of an American Dreamer.
“I’ll be bringing few of my designs on site and will be able to explain my creative process too through sketches and fabrics display.”
