Ben has spent 15 years as an analyst, investor, strategist, and capital allocator in the portfolio management and technology sectors.  He was a buy-side analyst at ING Investment Management for 4 years learning asset valuation and how public markets function.  He left ING to co-found Data Monkey Technologies, a fund accounting software startup, and pursue his MBA at Arizona State University.  Upon graduation, he joined Intel Finance where he spent the next 10 years managing R&D portfolios (semiconductor and software), long-range planning, M&A diligence, and equity investments.  After Intel, he joined an electric vehicle startup to lead corporate development and soon after was hired by Applied Materials to manage their enterprise R&D portfolio.  Ben is an active CFA Charterholder, angel investor, loving husband, and father of two beautiful daughters.
