I have over 10+ years of experience delivering 'end to end' user centered products to market. I grew up in Seattle and earned my BA degree in Graphic Design from WWU in 2000. My first design job out of college was designing and managing mtbaker.com, an e-commerce site for the Mt Baker Snowboard Shop (in Bellingham, WA). After 4 years, I moved to Seattle to start working for GameHouse where I had the unique opportunity to work in social gaming, designing Scrabble snd Uno for Facebook. After about 5 years, I moved to a startup called Livemocha, an online learning language community. It was there, I designed my first SAAS product, a web app. Rosetta Stone acquired that technology and I worked there for the next 6 years designing all their language learning apps supporting desktop, mobile, Apple Watch and XBox One. Since leaving, I’ve been involved with AI assisted recruiting tools and designing management products shaping efficiencies around internal work flow. An finally, at Qwick, I have been involved with the complexity of creating a platform which matches businesses with workers (we refer to as professionals or freelancers). These products interact with each other in a unique way that simplifies the  complexity of the connection between these two groups of people. I’m also involved in  designed and supporting an internal marketplace management tool to help manage these relationships. … but my journey does not stop here. I always stay open to new possibilities in how design adapts to innovation in technology (and how this defines what’s important to us, our intention and interaction). We all strive for connection on some level and I feel passionate about helping shape how we connect in meaningful ways through product design.
