Jon Canyon is an enrolled Navajo Nation tribal member. Canyon is a board member of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of AZ and chair of the Tribal Economic Development Committee of the Arizona Association of Economic Development. He also volunteers on the advisory committee with the American Indian Science & Engineering (AISES) and as an ambassador for the Cahokia Socialtech and Artspace.   Canyon started his journey in biotech, creating collaborations with Indigenous communities by bringing innovative technology to assist in health care. He became the president of Native Health Advisors, a Native women-owned company passionate about integrating new technology to help elevate the care of Indigenous communities. The company’s goal is to support economic development in Indian country by collaborating with tribal workforce teams and creating job opportunities for tribal communities.
