Tanaha is the driving force behind RISE The Movement, a pioneering collective impact investing community dedicated to empowering women financially and socially. With a relentless commitment to promoting meaningful causes, Tanaha envisions a world where women have the tools and knowledge to make a positive impact through their investments.
Her investment journey began as an angel investor and evolved into Managing Director of an investment community. She observed that predominantly men participated and invited more men, recognizing the potential of collaborative discussions, similar to "Shark Tank" minus the drama.
Personal experiences, including a divorce while caring for young children, underscored the importance of financial oversight and education. Motivated by bridging the gender gap in finance and driving social change, Tanaha founded RISE the Movement, shaping its core values of financial empowerment, gender equality, and social impact.
Tanaha is a published author in the Journal of Private Equity, with an insightful article on 'Changing the Game of Venture Capital: Expert Insights. In her spare time, she enjoys her three teenagers and watching their competitive sports. Her goal is to do her part to leave the world a better place for them. Investing in social impact and creating positive change through financial investments.
Tanaha earned her Master of Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of International Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Arizona State University.
