Dr. Marlowe leads the research & development efforts at FAKnostics, LLC. He is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Phoenix and University of Arizona College of Pharmacy. Dr. Marlowe is the inventor of pioneering FAK peptidic inhibitor technology and is developing this technology towards IND approval and human trials. Dr. Marlowe has been awarded over $2.6 million in small business start-up grants. He has an extensive background in drug discovery and pharmacology, with major expertise in structure-based drug design, computational drug discovery, and a wide-variety of biophysical and biochemical assays. He received his PhD from the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Molecular Pharmacology and Cancer Therapeutics, and his BS from the University at Buffalo in Pharmacology and Toxicology.
