How did you hear about Venture Cafe?
Through social media – I was intrigued by the topic: Panel discussion with several local Venture Capital firms.
What does Venture Cafe Phoenix mean to you?
It is way more than the other so called networking events, featuring high caliper speakers with relevant topics and most importantly a pretty sophisticated audience, it makes it worth attending and networking. Great support staff!
Have you had any memorable connections at Venture Cafe Phoenix?
As a matter of fact, a couple: one was the original Judge Judy, who told me the story behind the TV Show and why she did not become the TV Judge Judy instead started a second career in the medical field!
What is your organization and what does it do?
METAXFASHION Inc. was founded by serial entrepreneur Brendan Gage and high-tech manufacturing expert Hermann Plank in 2022 – METAXFASHION it is a dApp (Decentralized Application) and your bridge to the Fashion Metaverse. We provide fashion brands and designers with the necessary training and web3 tools to be ready to succeed in the fast-growing digital world. METAXFASHION tools include NFTs (non-fungible tokens) with underlying smart contracts tailored to fashion brands to authenticate their intellectual property, digital fashion design and digital twins, virtual as well as mixed reality runway shows. As an Algorand grant recipient, METAXFASHION is developing the first NFT ecosystem built exclusively for fashion brands and designers on the Algorand Blockchain – sustainable, decentralized and innovative.
