Have you had any memorable connections at Venture Café Phoenix? If so, please tell us how you met them, who they are and how they have impacted you and your organization?

Too many to list! I’ve made some wonderful friendships & found client opportunities through Venture Cafe.

What inspires you?

Growing up, I had a poster in my room from Apple’s marketing campaign with artists & thought leaders. This poster showed Ansel Adams behind his large format camera with California’s Highway 1 Rainbow Bridge in the background. The only words on that poster read “Think Different”. I’m inspired by business driving positive social impact. I’m inspired by the teams, business models, and products that challenge the existing status quo by daring to think differently.

Tell us a little more about your current role with your organization and how it has impacted the start-up ecosystem here in the greater Phoenix region.

I’m founder of a marketing agency focused on serving startups. We have worked with a handful of clients here in Phoenix and welcome the opportunity to roll our sleeves up & lean in to building Phoenix into a nationally recognized hub of innovation and impact. Phoenix has so much potential & startups here deserve access to the same worldclass services as startups in cities like Boston, Austin, San Francisco, and New York. We’re proud to contribute to this growing ecosystem.

Can you discuss your experience at Venture Café Phoenix and any impact the event has had on your organization?

It’s helped me wrap my head around the current landscape of the national and local startup ecosystems. It’s also helped me connect with other likeminded folks with a passion for business driving impact. In total, both of these outcomes have shaped how we position our services, design products to truly solve challenges for startups, and it’s helped me build a network from which our agency is scaling. Personally, it’s been fulfilling as I create connections & relationships with inspiring, hardworking founders.
