Tell us a little more about your current role with your organization and how it has impacted the start-up ecosystem here in the greater Phoenix region?
I’m the COO of SunFlex solar, and through that role and company have had the privilege of connecting with the ACA, AZ Tech Council, AZ CleanTech, Plug and Play, ASU, and countless founders and funders to be able to directly contribute to many startups in our great state! SunFlex is an Arizona Connerce Authority Innovation Challenge 2023 cohort member.

Tell us about the people, mentors, etc that have helped you along the way.

Your potential and capacity will frequently be limited by those around you. Craft an inner circle of self-aware, motivated people who take responsibility for themselves and their lives. In addition, always extend your hand before your hat and find ways to help other people as often as possible. This will result in the formation of a support network that’s as vast as it is consistent! I’ve had too many people help me along my journey to list them here, and for that I’m extremely grateful.

Advice to Aspiring Entrepreneurs and People Looking for their Passion

Don’t overwhelm yourself by trying to chart your entire life course- although visualizing a goal or two can be inspirational in small doses! Build your life like you’re following a compass- do a little more of what you love, and a little less of what you don’t as frequently as possible. If you do this, you’ll end up in a place that’s right for you.
