Dr. Aman Verma is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Consultant in the Division of Hospital Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic Arizona. He has training in biomedical engineering and completed Stanford University’s Biodesign Global Faculty in Training (GFIT) program, with a focus on advancing needs-based innovation in healthcare. Since joining Mayo Clinic Arizona in 2020, Dr. Verma has served as Founder and Executive Director of the Synapse Internship Program, Arizona Director for the Mayo Clinic GME Clinical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Academy, and Clinical Chair of the IMPACT Program, a collaborative Biodesign master’s degree with Arizona State University. He also serves as core faculty for the Mayo Clinic Arizona Internal Medicine Residency. His professional interests include mentoring, curriculum development, and improving patient care through innovation. Dr. Verma was recognized as Teacher of the Year by the Mayo Fellows’ Association in 2023 and was selected as the 2025 Arizona ACP Early Career Physician of the Year. Outside of work, Dr. Verma has a passion for aviation, traveling abroad, and is enjoying learning how to be a new dad.
