Carolin Gey is an entrepreneur and international business builder with more than 30 years of experience launching and managing ventures across health care, wellness, sports, and manufacturing, all with international connections. Originally from Germany, she relocated to the United States in 2002 and has since built a track record of forging business partnerships between U.S. and global companies, with expertise spanning company management, U.S. and international distribution, product development, and branding.
She holds a master's degree in business economics from the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg in Germany and completed her thesis at the University of Sevilla in Spain through an Erasmus scholarship. Fluent in German and English and conversational in Spanish, she has engaged with a wide range of international business cultures throughout her career.
In February 2020, Carolin was inaugurated as the Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in the State of Arizona, representing the German government within the Arizona community and fostering connections between Arizona and Germany in business, culture, and education. Later that year, she co-founded Treffpunkt, a nonprofit international German-speaking community center in Scottsdale that now hosts more than 100 events annually and operates a language school, serving as a cultural anchor for the German, European, and international communities in Arizona.
Carolin is a founding partner of the European Center of Arizona, a new Scottsdale-based hub launching in fall 2026 in partnership with the Alliance Française of Greater Phoenix and the European Senate of Economy U.S. She works with the Senate of Economy in the U.S. to support innovative companies expanding between the United States, Germany, France, and across Europe.
