Simon brings more than 25 years of management and industry experience across healthcare, medical diagnostics, and clinical research, with a career spanning both commercial and not-for-profit sectors. Simon began his career with Sonic Healthcare in 1995 at Douglass Laboratories in Sydney. Over the years, Simon has held senior leadership roles at the National Heart Foundation of Australia and the NICM Health Research Institute at Western Sydney University and has also served as a Board Director for the Northern Territory AIDS and Hepatitis Council. In 2019, Simon returned to Sonic Healthcare as Director, Commercial Services at Sonic Clinical Trials. Simon studied a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration, combining scientific expertise with strong commercial acumen. He is passionate about advancing health equity and improving access to innovative treatments and medications.
